Ushers are volunteers who assist in the conduct of public worship by welcoming worshippers on arrival, particularly attending to the needs of visitors and newcomers. Ushers also serve by collecting and presenting the Offering at the Eucharist, and assisting those who may be physically restricted in making their communion. At the conclusion of the Liturgy, the Ushers gather discarded Service Bulletins and secure personal items that may have been left in the Church.
