The 7 at Christ Church gives the youth of the parish a place to experience Christ's love through friendship, fellowship, worship, discipleship, and outreach. We are welcoming group who enjoy hanging out, helping out and having fun. The 7 (grades 6-12) meets together for lunch after the 10:30a.m. service about once per month. The schedule of events is posted on the youth bulletin board in the front hall. Other separate activities and outings are organized for the group throughout the year as detailed in the church bulletin. The leaders provide a supporting environment where potential for participation in the life of the church and Christian service is strongly encouraged - while having fun at the same time!

We encourage our young people to become involved in diocesan activities, by arranging for them to attend Rally and Happening at the Solomon Episcopal Center near Hammond La. Rally is a fun- and spirit-filled weekend, providing participants an opportunity to interact with young people from other Churches throughout the Diocese. Happening is a renewal weekend for teenagers in 10th through 12th grades and the adults who work with them. The weekend includes opportunities for candidates to become better acquainted with themselves, with others in the Diocese, with the Episcopal Church, and with Jesus Christ.
