The luncheon and meeing well be held in Comfort Hall at 1423 Seventh Street in Slidell. The business of this meeting shall include election of four members to three-year vestry terms (See bios and qualifications for our seven candidates) , ratification of changes to the Articles of Incorporation (See changes to Articles) and By-Laws (See changes to By-Laws) as passed by the vestry in December, and delivery of reports on the spiritual and temporal state of Christ Church. Any Confirmed or Received member of Christ Church who is of age sixteen or older and who has, in the preceding year, received Communion here at least three times and is a financial contributor of record may vote at this meeting. Detail regarding the changes and known vestry nominees will be available at least one week prior to the meeting.

Acolytes Needed!

We are in need of acolytes between the ages of 10 and 18 (and their parants) who are willing to commit to a monthly service at 8am or 10:30am. All events are rotated monthly and your schedule can be accomodated. If interested, please contact the church office by e-mail or phone at 985-643-4531.

Safeguarding God's Children

is a training course required by the Episcopal Church for all who work with children in the Church, as well as staff and vestry members. It is also a great resource for parents! Recertification is now required every three years . Lisa Carvin is now doing classes on an as-needed basis.
